DAWNY AND LUCY'S FANTASTICAL LEAVING PARTY

Dawny is already pimping this, so I will too!

Everyone is invited! You can bring your friends! Dressing fancy-like is encouraged but by no means compulsary!

We will be having a big-ass barbeque - please provide your own meat and booze! There will be music and fun and lots of attractive people. It is going to be AWESOME.

It is going to be better than any trip to boring old Amsterdam. Promise!

read one book get one night of dancing

omg housemates!

I have been reading a lot of books recently. I have read Sebastian Faulks and Ian McEwan and Dan Rhodes and Peter Hoeg and also some tiny short stories by Tove Jansson. Peter Hoeg was the best. I have read Miss Smilla's Feeling for Snow twice now and even in translation it is beautiful. It is perfect.

This has bought me quite a lot of dancing time! It is so fun, I love to dance. Even with my current painful and gross strapped-up-feet-damage situation (there was an incident), I love to drink my fill and then prance around some sweaty indie pit until I drop with sheer joy.

Last night we went dancing to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and also Zoe's birthday and it is a good job I didn't slack it off in favour of tending to my broken feet because omg new housemates! I am going to be living with some extremely sexy darlings and gosh it will be the most handsome thing because we are all super classy and also excellent kissers. They have got a winerack, I have got a floor lamp, we are going to get a cat! Nothing could be better!

Oh lord I am so excited. This is even better than the other morning at work when they gave everyone champagne at 9am because we made such an obscene amount of money in the last financial year and then promised us a night of subsidised dancing with the profits! As it is my last chance to corrupt Boy Who Wears a Tie before he leaves, I fully intend to woo him with my enthusiatic sweaty dancing.

Better get reading!

I'm Harry!

I have now watched every trailer for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix which exists on YouTube. Excitement.

From this point, it's going to be a daily battle to contain my excitement until July, at which point I will move into the Cineworld in town and live on popcorn and adrenaline.

I wish I wasn't such a Muggle.

And omg suddenly Harry has all these shoulders <3
