Archives being back is perhaps one of the best things that has happened all year - they are funny and sad and so incredibly beautifully written that I want to print them all out, pretend I wrote it and have it published. And they remind me of things I had long since forgotten about. xxx
Reading them has been interesting for me, too. I'd forgotten a lot of what I'd written but a lot of it is sad, or at least it is between the lines. I write more about the things I don't write about, I think.
It makes me wish I was a better writer. Maybe I'll try NaNoWriMo for real this year and write a novel about a girl who falls in love with a boy who breaks her heart, and then has to go and live in the forest with the deer and eventually, after some adventures, realises that what she wants is not a boy but antlers and cloven hoofs after all.
