Sometimes things work out

and sometimes they don't.

Case(s) in point: 1) This morning I stood on and shattered one photoframe; one fell off the wall; and another one has fallen into an unreachable place behind my desk. 2) Fittingly, after my last boastful post, the internet hasn't worked for a full week, and today's engineer tells me it will be another week before it does.

On the other hand, the postman delivered me a new Blood Donor card this morning. It is a thing of beauty and - I'm not going to lie to you - I did quite a good dance whilst clutching it in my sweaty little hand. I am a very proud lady.
