Lengthy absence, lengthy update.

So. Against my better judgement, a sweaty man from the telephonic organization visited my lovely new home this morning and has plugged a lot of wires into a lot of walls. The telephone may ring at any time and I am taking my first, tentative steps into the world of 'The Internet'.

So, yeah, some things have happened while I've been offline. Some things haven't, of course. My memory's not great, so I'm not sure which is which. Things which have definitely happened include: a graduation ball; a graduation; a very sad trip to the vet; a new house; maybe a new job; some new friends, some old friends. I know these things have definitely happened because I've got pictures. Some of these are available for the looking at, on my Flickr site. Some of them are to be seen below, also!

I might do better at updates now I can browse the electronic web whenever the fancy strikes me. Alternatively, I might begin to spend so much time online that I will neglect to leave the house and become a slothful and antisocial ex-deli employee, and hence have no updates or friends but only links to the latest intertelecommunicationnet-based fad.

We shall see!

1. House white; 2. House poseur (that's a fucking neckscarf); 3. House red; 4. Meg.

Sad trips to the vet are not good.

Hopefully the House Red worked!

I like the hair; the neckscarf less so.

Anonymous (Eric?): if the 'project' involves dropping said sewing machine on someone's head or otherwise employing it for untoward purposes, then I'm afraid neither I nor my sewing machine can be a part of your grand scheme.

If you want to use it for the traditional purpose of 'sewing two things together', however, then maybe we can talk.

James, the hair and the neckscarf come as a package. They are both unfeasibly high-maintenance (but only one will kill you if you accidentally wear it to bed).

James, I think you'd like my hair at the moment. Plus, I have the advantage of having an interchangable neckscarf, which doesn't have to be worn at all if that's what you wish to do.

I don't think you'd like my hair as much as Lucy's hair though. Even I don't like my hair as much as I like Lucy's hair and I like me a lot. So that's saying something about Lucy's hair, which I like. And when I say Lucy, I mean Erica.

I like Erica's hair. In this instance, when I say Erica, I mean Erica.

Can someone please tell me whether or not to buy the new Razorlight album? I've got the single and I listened to the album in Dublin in Tower Records, and I liked it. But then I listened to it in HMV in Norwich today and it didn't sound as good. But then again, the Guinness tasted super nice in Dublin too and not so super nice in Norwich.

Lucy, thank you for letting me use your website to air my thoughts.

I hope you are well. And you, James.
