THE HOTTEST ROCK
1) Anyone want to come to Birmingham (April 10th) to see these boys play some music? They are scientists!I will probably drive there, if I can work out where on earth Birmingham is. I have heard talk about 'motorways', I might have a go at one!

2) Slightly more expensive (£11) but also slightly classier are those Decemberist types, who are going to be in Camden on May 19th!
Everyone likes songs about Victorian street urchins, captured spies or Spanish princesses and I encourage such people to think about this gig with serious faces.
3) AND THEN Sleater-Kinney(!) will be doing their sexy trans-Atlantic thing in Leeds on May 28th (edit: apparently I can't read the internet, and it is actually May 30th). For £10 you can go and listen the pleasing sounds of three girls singing about light-rail coyotes and diamond thefts and revolutions.(<3)

note to readers: for 'sleater-kinney' read 'angry lesbians with a basic knowledge of teh guitar'
I'm going to say yes x 3 but this may be subject to change once I've downloaded a few of those shouty lesbian's songs.
I may also be working or some similar rubbish.
Anonymous, you big wussy spineless nameless mud-flinger, you!
You're entirely right.
God I love them so much.
You will find that Sleater-kinney are down in brighton on the 28th.
They are in Leeds on the 30th tho. :)
OH SNAP
That first band are ok. Just commercial enough for me to have heard some of the songs! I could be considered a possible applicant for that gig.
So, Sleater-Kinney. I'm guessing they all wish they were Siouxsie Sioux?
Jon: I am not considering any 'could be potential applications' from you. Make your damn mind up.
James: I suspect you're doing something wrong. Listen to this, this, or this. They will probably play a lot off this as they're well known for focussing on the newer stuff at gigs, but that's not their best album by a long shot!
I like All hands on the bad one best, not too keen on their lastest album.
It would seem I managed to get hold of 3 utterly shite tracks. The few I have sampled courtesy of your linkage are much more pleasing. Count me in x 3 as previously mentioned.
Joe: I've barely listened to All Hands, it failed to impress on initial listenings. I'll have to dig it out again I guess!
James: Out of interest, what'd you heard to prompt such a comparison?
