maybe i didn't survive that crash

So, a lot of things have been happening to me recently. I can always tell when lots of things are happening to me because a) they are happening to me and b) I never have time to write self-indulgent journal entries about it.

Mostly, I have moved house. I am excessively happy about this. I love it. My dinosaurs love it. My room is beautiful and has wooden floors and ridiculously high ceilings and even some alcoves! I have thrown away all my junk and am living the minimalist dream in my enormous bright cave.

The other things that have happened have all been changes, too. A couple of weeks ago I said forever-goodbye to Charley and then, once I had finished crying all the way through our dinner date, made him go away so I could drown my sorrows at P and Gemma's leaving party. People leaving is sad, but they make way for exciting new people!

SUCH AS:

This is Bear! Bear is brand new! He is is our brand new charcoal boy kitten. He is tiny and fearless and leaps around like our favourite mountain adventurer.

Right now he is tired after his big move (and because it must be exhausting to be loved so fiercely) but tomorrow, after a restful sleep on my bed, he will be ready for another day of bounding joy and being unfortunately cute.

KITTEN

He is the most lovely thing and would never bear ill will towards anyone, unlike you heartless cynics. He doesn't know how to scheme!

He'll learn if he wants to avoid the crazy cat woman. He'll learn.

Even if he manages to avoid me, I have two equally crazy (sexy) housemates who are waiting to scoop him up in open arms!

Also, he'd land on his feet anyway.
